Prof. Conor Murphy

Conor is a Professor in the Department of Geography at Maynooth University. He was awarded his PhD from Maynooth University in 2007 under the inspiring supervision of Dr. Ro Charlton. His research interests are interdisciplinary and focus on Hydroclimatology, Historical Climatology and Adaptation to climate change. Conor has been awarded over €5 million in funding as PI or Co-I from National and European sources. His research engages closely with enterprise, public bodies and communities. He has consistently published in top ranking international journals including; Science, Nature, Nature Climate Change, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (see publications tab for full list). He has also published numerous book chapters and government reports informing policy in the area.
