Michael O'Donoghue's civil and environmental engineering expertise has seen him excel in the contracting and consulting sectors, both in Ireland and in the UK. His early career was spent working on numerous large-scale infrastructure projects in the UK. However, in 2015 Michael returned to Ireland in an engineering consultancy role. This saw him working on the delivery of renewable energy projects across the country and, as an acting conservation engineer, he oversaw the restoration of some of Ireland's most historic monuments. Since joining JBA in 2021, Michael has led and continues to lead some of the country's most complex flood relief schemes. He also leads their delivery of rainwater management plans and catchment-wide SuDS strategies.
