Katie is a senior associate solicitor in the Healthcare team at Hayes solicitors. Since joining Hayes in 2021, Katie has specialised in the defence of complex medical claims taken against both public hospitals and private clinicians, as well as dental claims taken against dentists working in the private sector. Prior to joining Hayes, Katie worked for four years in the area of insurance defence litigation, with a particular focus on personal injury claims. Prior to that, she trained in general practice with a particular focus on plaintiff personal injury claims. Through her insight in different perspectives of personal injuries litigation, Katie brings a wealth of skill and perspective to her clinical defence work.
