Brendan O’Connell is Head of RDJ’s General Litigation and disputes practice. He has huge depth of expertise and breadth of knowledge in the area of defence litigation. Brendan is a highly talented litigator who has gained considerable experience in dealing with the conduct of litigation and dispute resolution on behalf of insurance companies, municipal authorities and state bodies, in the area of motor, employer liability, public liability and products liability claims. He also has specialist expertise in advising educational institutions and sporting bodies, in respect of internal disputes and disciplinary issues. Brendan has advised boards of major sporting bodies and boards of management on contentious matters.
