About this Conference

This conference will cover key topics in Building Control and Technical Guidance Documents, focusing on legislative updates in building and control regulations, construction product standards, and the role of the new Building Standards Regulator. We'll explore amendments in the Building Regulations (Part B Amendment) Regulations 2023 and dive into modern construction methods, including Insulated Concrete Formwork and solar PV systems, from a fire safety perspective.

The agenda includes sessions on Building Control Inspections, highlighting enforcement, best practices, and common issues. We'll also discuss the application and challenges of Parts K, M, L, F, E, and C of the Building Regulations, covering everything from design and compliance to sound insulation and ventilation, as well as addressing climate action through building standards.
