As a innovated principal consultant, Stephen retains a wealth of experience in many facets of the built environment, spanning a 30 year career and has specialised in fire risk management for the past two decades. This diverse subject matter expertise encompasses more recent work in complex environments and assessment of exotic hazards across the fire, security and emergency planning disciplines. With experience as a Hospital Fire Office and CBRNE responsibility as Area Fire and Security Management, plus responsibility for South West London Primary care trusts and a range of supporting technical provisions, Stephen offers a unique insight to complex matters and has an ability to simplify the complex into viable solutions. Stephen is a member of the BS 7974 Part 6 Human Behaviour in Fire Committee, plus the new Cabinet Office supported British Standard to City Resilience. Stephen chairs the London branch of the National Association of Health Care Fire Officers, contributes to the executive of the Emergency Planning Society in London and undertakes a range of professional and charitable undertakings in the fire sector. Recently, Stephen was made Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Fire Fighters and joins the International Fire Consultants Group on significant public sector and commercial developments in the UK.
