John Sheehy is a partner in the Dublin office of DAC Beachcroft specialising in litigation and dispute resolution and, in particular, the area of defence personal injury and insurance litigation. John qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and joined DAC Beachcroft in 2013. He has extensive experience acting for a range of international and domestic insurers, along with self-insured parties in the defence of personal injuries claims from inception through to completion. John deals with a wide variety of claims to include employer's liability, public liability, products liability, defamation, road traffic accidents, and fatal injury claims, and insurance coverage disputes. Prior to training as a solicitor, John worked in the insurance industry as a claims handler. He trained as a solicitor with a commercial law firm where he worked primarily in the areas of litigation and contentious employment.
