Chris Croly is the Building Services Engineering Director and Head of Building Services Dublin for BDP. Chris has worked on many of Ireland’s lowest energy buildings including the record breaking ESB’s Headquarter offices, the National Gallery of Ireland, Waterford Institute of Technology Tourism and Leisure building, University College Cork Environmental Research Institute and Colaiste Choilm Secondary School low energy research project. He has also assisted our international studios with developing sustainability strategies for many exemplars low energy projects internationally. The buildings that he has worked on have achieved an exemplar energy performance that has been achieved through the application of innovation in both passive and active design rather than resorting to high-cost solutions. Beyond the scope of his project work, Chris has been involved in a number of research projects, the results of which have been readily shared with the industry through the provision of regular speaking engagements at conferences and through a series of publications and papers.
